No display after a Windows update — how do I fix it?

Boot into Safe Mode via 3 forced restarts, then roll back the graphics driver. If Safe Mode also has no display, it's a hardware/BIOS issue.

Windows Update sometimes ships bad GPU drivers. Force 3 unclean reboots to trigger the Recovery Environment → Startup Settings → Safe Mode with Networking. In Device Manager, uninstall the display adapter driver and reboot. If no display exists even in Safe Mode or BIOS, the fault is hardware — LCD panel, cable, or GPU chip on the motherboard.
